Saturday, August 30, marks the final day of service for @pigandthelady in Chinatown. For over a decade, this space has been our home — rooted in community, filled with memories, and supported by all of you. Late 2013 was years ago, but it also feels like yesterday, when we built this restaurant with our own hands and started something truly special that championed our family’s immigrant story and also becoming a part of Hawaii’s rich cultural tapestry. While we’ll miss these walls, we’re excited to begin our next chapter in Kaimukī this October (details coming soon!). 🌺✨ It truly feels like coming home, as our family grew up in Palolo, and Waialae Ave was a permanent fixture with our parents’ business. We can’t wait to continue our journey, where it all started, and welcome you there. Mahalo for everything, Chinatown. 💛
