For this week, we are on our regular farmers market schedule with the inclusion of the Mililani Craft Fair on Saturday, April 22. We are also going to be at the Taste of Hawaii: Saint Louis School Grape Escape, an annual food and wine fundraiser for the school. It’ll a return of sorts for two alumni from Saint Louis, Chef Andrew and CFO Lawrence!
For this week’s special items on the farmers market menu, we’ve got five in all. Here they are:
BUN RIEU CUA — vietnamese crab noodle soup, tofu, shrimp, crab & pork mix, ships, ong choy, banana blossom, vermicelli, pork tamarind broth
BUN BO NAM BO — stirred beef vermicelli served in a baguette
THIT KHO — ietnamese style caramelized and braised pork belly
LAOTIAN FRIED CHICKEN (Blaisdell only) — our famous LFC chicken, but using chicken thighs and served with pickled veggies and rice
WHOLE FRIED FISH (Saturday only) — fresh catch of the day, whole deep fried, thai style
