In the meantime, we’re on our regular schedule this week at the farmers market — Wednesday at Blaisdell; Thursday at Kailua; Saturday at KCC. This week’s specials include the following:
LAMB MAZEMEN — slow cooked lamb, roasted peanut-chili satay, fermented mustard cabbage, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, cilantro, tokyo negi, temomi noodles
BANH MI CHA CA LA VONG — local fish marinated in turmeric & galangal, scallions and dill
CLAYPOT SWAI & SHRIMP — caramelized and glazed swai, shrimp slow-cooked in a claypot
